Why We Like The Blaze 86 Ski

Volkl took a unique approach to the Blaze 86, building it from the ground up as a carving ski, with a lightweight construction that keeps our legs fresh endless chairlift laps. The snappy-feeling construction also encourages us to explore the backcountry. Volkl utilized tech from the rest of their carving line, and removed the titanal to shed some weight, while the triple radii ensure reliable edge hold in technical terrain. The 86mm waist places this ski as a nimble resort carver, or a stable touring ski for firm snow conditions.
